It is a good idea to learn English through things that you really like and enjoy. Do not waste your precious time with boring materials that demotivate you.
When you are working through something that you like:
You enjoy it while you are working.
Time seems to go by faster.
You improve a lot more because of your positive mindset towards what you do.
You are looking forward to working on your English.
I am pretty sure that you agree with me. Being that said…
What Do You Have To Do To Learn English Faster
From now on, whenever you find SOMETHING you really enjoy, you have to use it as the focus to improve your English.
It has to be like a little baby playing with their favourite toy until it breaks into pieces.
Your favourite toy is going to be something that motivates you very much that you will use to improve your English.
Let’s see how to do that…
What Thing Can You Use To Learn English Faster
According to your personal tastes, there are many stuff that can help you a lot.

Idea in your mind (start a business, learn to play guitar)
How To Work With “Your Stuff”
When you have “your stuff”, it is time to work around it as much as possible.
Focus all your effort on this stuff you love, and work and improve your English around it.
You will work your Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing skills around your thing.
As A Personal Example Of This Strategy
For example, I enjoyed reading The Da Vinci Code By Dan Brown.
A lot of people like it, a lot of people dislike it. Long story short: It is a very entertaining book full of suspense.
As I enjoyed the book, I decided to go further around this material.
1. I then looked around and found a documentary on DVD about what was right and wrong inThe Da Vinci Code. I watched the DVD multiple times, first with subtitles and then without them.
2. I also looked for articles on the Internet about some topics I stumbled upon in the book that I found interesting.(((examples)))
3. After that, I listened to The Da Vinci Code Audiobook. It was like reading the book twice, but this second time with my ears.
As it was my second time reading the book, following the listening to was easy.
4. I also searched for forums and groups on the Internet about the book and talked with other people who also liked or disliked the book.
5. I even ended up with a new friend with whom, at first, we talked for long hours about the book and then, later, about different topics outside the book.
As a brief summary of all my work around the book I read:
Material |
Skills that I worked |

Audiobook |
Listening |
Articles in the Internet |
Reading |
Videos on YouTube |

As you can see, you can do a lot of work around something you like.
Use This Same Strategy With Anything That You Like
For example, if you are looking to start a new business, then focus all the work to do in English:
- Read books about the business.
- Look for advice on the Internet.
- Look for articles on blogs.
- Watch videos on YouTube.
- Talk to forums, groups and people in the sector.
- And so on…but do all of these using the English language.
